The Haunted Mansion -- a labyrinth adventure game by William Paulsen.
On a remote hill stands the Wincester mansion. It was owned by the late Henry
Wincester, who was an escentric miser. Not only did he not want any of his
relatives to inherit his fortunes when he died, but would rather have them die
in their greedy attempt to obtain his wealth. It is rumored that he stashed
his fortune in his two story mansion, but of the many
brave souls who ventured to look for the loot, few ever came out again.
All of the windows of this mansion are boarded up. This is not unusual
for an abandoned house, but Henry had the windows boarded up while he was
still living in it. Many of the shingles have fallen off from years of
neglect, and the gutters are saging.
