Course Description:
Limits, derivatives, implicit differentiation, applications of the derivative,
indefinite integrals, definite integrals, substitution techniques for integrals
and applications of the integral.
Prerequisites: High School Trigonometry and score of 24 or above on math ACT or
660 or above on SAT, or MATH 1054, or MATH 1023 and MATH 1033. (F, S, SU)

Attendance:
It is in your best interest to attend class. ASU Class attendance policy will be enforced: Class Attendance Policy. When you are in class make sure your cell phones and pagers are turned off and put your lap top computer away. Go to the bathroom before you come to class. Sit down and respect other people's rights by not carrying on unnecessary conversations in class. If you are forced to miss class, you are responsible for material covered in the missed classes and any assignments made. There will be no make-up exams. If for legitimate reasons, you cannot take an exam contact the course instructor before the test is given. If prior notification for your absence has been sought and granted, your final average will be appropriately calculated to accommodate the missing exam.
Course Grades:
Letter grades for the semester will be based on overall percentages; the cutoffs will be 85/75/60/50% respectively. At the end of the semester, your grade will be posted on the Web site where you will be able to access it as soon as it it listed.
