Wapanocca is a National Wildlife Refuge in Northeast Arkansas. It is located off H 42 near Turrell, Arkansas. The refuge offers opportunities for birdwatching, wildlife and nature observation, photography, hiking, hunting, fishing, and boating. Camping, picnicing, ATV's, and horses are prohibited.

There is an auto trail, or nature drive, that allows visitors to see the preserve in the comfort of their cars.

Visitors can approach the nature drive from the refuge offices off Hwy 42.
Most shots on the nature drive link were taken on the section of the nature trail between the wildlife office and the observation pier. Shots were taken over a period of years.
