MATH 3353, History of Mathematics
Course Description
Origin and development of modern mathematical concepts. Topics
include systems of numeration, algebra, geometry, calculus, and the
foundations of the real number system.
Prerequisite
MATH 2214
(Calculus II).
Scheduling
This course is offered in the fall semester of each year and
in the summer semester of odd-numbered years.
