MATH 1023, College Algebra

Course Description
Equations and inequalities, functions and graphs, polynomial and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, systems of equations and inequalities, matrices, and miscellaneous topics. Students cannot receive credit for both MATH 1023 (College Algebra) and MATH 1013 (College Mathematics). Will substitute for MATH 1013 (College Mathematics).

Prerequisite
High School Algebra II and mathematics ACT score of 19 or above or 590 or above on SAT, or a grade of "C" or better in MATH 0013 (Intermediate Algebra).

Scheduling
This course is offered in the fall, spring, and summer semesters of each year.
