Computer Aided Drafting

The Computer-Aided-Drafting two-year program is designed to prepare students to do detailed drawings based on sketches, specifications, and calculations made by scientists, engineers, architects, and designers. Students use the latest CAD computers and software. Emphasis is placed on basic drafting principles and on using the computer to produce engineering and architectural drawings.

AVC students completing this program with a B or better average can receive up to 12 hours college credit with ASU Beebe and other post secondary schools.
